I'm not sure if someone's said this (I skipped page 5...)

Julius Caesar said "Veni, vidi, vici" which has ALWAYS been my motto in all things concerning winning.

Otherwise, I borrow the theme from The Dead Poet's Society [/I] "Carpe diem." I dunno who said that

    Latin has good quotes.

"My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next.
    "
I always loved this one from Gladiator.

    Daniel Daly, 1918

"Mod Edit the torpedos! Full speed ahead!"
    Admiral David Farragut

Also, Id go with Marionettes quote, "Veni Vidi Vici" after Julias Ceasers victory in egypt. (Not Britain)

]"Veni Vidi Vici" after Julias Ceasers victory in egypt. (Not Britain)
That quotation was uttered by Julius Caesar after his swift subjugation of Pharnaces II of Pontus who had wanted to recreate the Pontian Empire/Realm as his predecessor Mithridates VI Eupator Dionysius had done so during the Mithridatic Wars against Rome. This Pontian Empire was centered in Anatolia, from the Attalid Pergamene in the west (absorbed by Rome) to the Greater Armenian Kingdom in the east (ally to Rome after its loss to Pompey 'the Great' with the Armenian monarch Tigranes II 'Eupator' recognizing the greater power and prowess of the Roman state).
