Starting Up for Beginners 2

This is the second installment of my starting up for beginnerseries.
If you have not read the first one yet then i sincerely recommend it.

Anyway we return and you have joined an alliance, claimed those quests and hopefully made some friends.
Now build another cottage and upgrade both cottages you have to level 3.
Claim the quest.
Then build a marketplace and claim the quest.
Next, mail a random person saying that is is a quest as it is. Claim the quest.
Then type soemthing completely random into world chat. Claim the quest.
Then go into sop and buy something cheap, preferably a merchant fleet and claim the quest.
By now you have a fair amount of game coin.
This is good as you need it for buying resources when you are low.
Now upgrade all your resource fields to level 5 or so that gives you plenty of resources. You want about 7 sawmills and 10 farms when you have more resource fields. Quarries are also important but dont focus too much on iron, it is the least used resource for building but you will need it later on when most troops need iron for production.
Now build a beacon tower and claim the quest.
Build a warehouse then demolish it, dont play to lose.
Now build an inn and a feasting hall and claim the quest. Recruit the first hero in there and claim the quest.
Then about him or her the mayor and claim the quest.

(Note)When it offers you a promotion make sure you accept but you will end up staying captain and knight for a while and medals are ridiculously hard to come by so be prepared to spend some money.

Try to get your academy to level 3 and keep claiming those quest.
Research informatics and upgrade your barracks to level 3. Then recruit scouts.Claim the quests you get from that.
Then do your best to research iron working and military tradition those are important to train troops.

(Note)Now you know that many things get you quests and when you build somehting new or upgrade it to new heights, even if you research something or build a new fortification you will get a quest. Claim them all the time.

Now from here on in, I am not telling you do to things specifically or step by step, I am just telling you what you should try to achieve.

Upgrade your forges to train military science, make sureyou get archery and horseback riding as soon as you can.\
You will need about 10 barracks in a decent war city.
Try and get them all to level 4 quickly and then on to level 5. This means you can recruit archers and cavalry.
Build up to about 1k archers tower once you get decent level walls. Then build on from there they are so important.
Keep upgrading barracks, academy and walls you want them all at at least lvel 6 before you come out of beginners protection.
THIS IS IMPORTANT SO I AM PUTTING IT IN CAPS, DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR TOWN HALL TO LEVEL 5 WITHING THE FIRST 7 DAYS OF STARTING THE GAME. YOU NEED TO BUILD AN ARMY AND DEFENCES BEFORE YOU ARE READY TO FACE THE OUTSIDE WORLD.
Now you know what to do to get you started, this is only the beginning Evony is an extremely long game and the possibilites are endless. Just keep on your toes and be ready for attacks.
