    also if your city is scouted and your gates are open your scouts will fight their scouts . so if you have a high number of scouts you could possibly wipe out their scouts . that way they get no scouting report on your city

    they dont need to have gates open for this. A city with closed gates still has scout on scout fights.

    correct, because scouts are crafty! and can sneak inside castles... as that is their job it just takes one to find one

    I've always been curious about how this was tested since one way I can tell if the gate is open or closed is if the scouts inside attack my one scout or not...
