Agreeing with all the posts that mention being attacked being part of the game.

However, I recommend your join 85 - 88, 85 is now a week and a half old and 88 is just about 2 days old now, so it's a great chance to start.

I would think about restarting but the motiviation is gone after all my peers quit this game because of the imbalances.

It's not imbalanced. It's like walking into a karate class, and grouping up with the black belts when you could have stuck with the whites - and then complaining.

I guess my first mistake was joining this game.

If you don't like the game, fine, but it's not imbalanced, just because you got defeated doesn't mean it's imbalanced. That's like saying Street Fighter is imbalanced because some characters can attack from a distance and others have stronger close combat attacks.

Thats got nothing to do with it.

I spent 2 weeks having AT's constantly in production and got up to 9000+ only to have them brought down in 6min from 100000 Archers.

So 2 weeks of effort can't even withstand 1 attack? Whats the point of even producing any defense at all?

Yes this game is RIDDEN with imbalances. The power of RANGED attacks is insanely imbalanced. Your reference is street fighter is beyond stupid.

    No, it's exactly my point.

And it's not my fault that someone attacked you with the maximum amount of troops possible before you were able to build up, again, you should have considered trying a newer server.

PS 9000 towers vs 100,000 Archers, there's a MASSIVE power difference there. If you had extra troops out such as warriors or calvary or had traps etc, you would have most likely won. Again, it's not my fault you rush into the developed servers without a clue on what to expect.

yes.. the game is imbalanced.. but not due to range .. the game has serious issues related to

    1. heroes. you cant dream of starting on a server where the highest atk hero is past 500..

    2. and techs the l10s take too much time.. and till then the estd players can mock the newbies openly

i propose random hero betrayals ..and they have already tried balancing techs.. by implementing wall bonus
    dumber forum.. sigh

100k archers takes much longer to acquire than 9k AT

It would be worse the other way around, if someone who has played for months couldn't take out a small amount of defenses.

Yes, ranged attacks are nice, but there's also alot of times they get crushed. The ranged power you speak of was also your benefit as you used archer towers. AT are also meant to be used as support for your army, not to take down entire attacks by themselves.
I do agree the analogy was off though

I guess in 7 days I wasn't able to get up to speed. So I'm quitting this piece of **** game.
