Wildor, I understand your position, and no one said anything about a Golden Age. Thats Generation talk, and I won't have any of that in this thread. I'm simply stating that the forums have got out of control.

FoxyBunny is working night and day to keep these forums on the brink of chaos, because we make so much its almost uncontrollable. All I'm saying is stop the spam. Be friendly, be a family.

Well, I like to think I've improved from the blatant spammer I was a while back, but that's in the mind of the observer. I'm up for it if it gets me away from the GD.

I just think the forums used to be more fun than they are now. I think people fought a bit less often. I think the spam was more contained and easier to control.

FB, as I stated in another thread a while back, this forum is growing and changing as it advances through time. It will be different 6 months from now as it is from 6 months ago. That's how it is and how it should be too.

@ Wildor: Oh, of course!!!! But the people here, as a whole, acted a bit nicer. It was a standard of behaviour that only recently started to slip away from us. I'd like that kindness to be the norm. It should be how we greet newcomers, because that encourages them to act the same. And it should be how we all treat each other. I don't think it is wild or idealistic to expect people to treat each other with courtesy and respect, and I don't think it should matter how many people we have here or who comes and goes.
