I was just browsing the interweb when an interesting thought crossed my mind!

i was wondering if the area you guys live in, has a claim to fame?

for example

i live in Worksop, England and the lead singer of Iron Maiden comes from here!

so just wondering if anyone else has claims to fame?

(must back them up if they are ludicrous)
