    I originate from Stanford-le-Hope, in England... aka Stanford-NO-Hope.

    Our biggest claim to fame was Denise van Outen used to go to school at the bottom of my road, and the guy who wrote speeches for Margaret Thatcher ( ::spit:: ) went to my school.

    Oh, and the British Boxing Heavyweight Championship bouts used to be in our neighborhood (well, near the 'Sea Wall') in the early 1900's.

    Oh... and we have a nearby oil refinery that's rumored to be on Russia's primary targets list, should the need ever arise.

    I'm so glad I moved. What a dump.
