Would You Want To Be Imortal?

I think after a while you would distance yourself from people so you wouldn't have to have loved ones that die.

Personally, I would love to be immortal and watch the advances made in science, medicine and technology. I would also love to see the new moments that would become history and would enjoy seeing how they are recorded as history. And how in time how views on a certain event change within society.

The biggest problem I see is, with becoming more advanced it is getting harder and harder for people to fake identities. In maybe another 100yrs or so everyones Identity will be recorded by birth using DNA scans. Then how will you get around in the world as if you are just a regular person?

Well seeing as you are immortal you could try rule the planet. If some one tried to assassinate you it will get them nowhere. though it will get you personally involved in people causing grief in the end. And now thinking logically if people knew you were immortal, people will probably try to torture out your secret or do something mad to get the answer. that question is a puzzler.
