Just wondering whats everyones views on immortality is?

I personally think it would be very painful. I mean if you really think about once our planet goes kaboom, you will be floating in space for a very long time, before you find a place where you can breathe properly again.

also it will be kinda a painful seeing many people you love just die over the years I mean yeah its great with all those learning opportunities and the pure act of not being killed will be amazing (just walk into gun fights sit down in front of them and have a picnic, would be a nice thing to do if you were immortal). but I would think that being immortal would hurt you very bad on a physiological level and you will become very anti social to stop the pain.

Any way thats just my thoughts on immortality whats yours?
