    Just so everyone has an idea of how their customer service/billing requests will be handled, I'd like to share my experiences.

    Three weeks ago I made a purchase, my receipt clearly states that I purchased 250c for $5. I have not received the bonus 200 coins.

    After sending in all the required information, posting here on the forums, and FINALLY PM'ing every forum moderator I could find, I have given up.

    This went back and forth for 3 weeks.
    Throughout this entire time frame, I have not been contacted ONE TIME.
    I have not been acknowledged.
    I had to reach out and PM a FORUM MODERATOR just to get a human response.

    Now I am being told that they are not going to correct the issue. They feel that even though my receipt clearly states what I purchased, I have already gotten the goods/services that I have paid for. Not only is this unprofessional, but ILLEGAL. I will be filing complaints with PayPal and the BBB.

    They also have no objections to the way things were handled, or the fact that the packages are incredibly misleading. Apparently they have no human emotion, and are purely driven by money. Excellent business model, I'm sure that will take them far.

    The point of the story is this. Terribly company, terrible customer support (if you can even call it support), and an EXTREME LACK OF BILLING SUPPORT.

    I still have not spoken directly to anyone in the billing department. My ONLY interaction with ANYONE, has been forum moderators.

    My suggestion to all is this. Start PM every forum moderator you can.
    It's the only way you will get a response. Even if it's a no, it's nice to be acknowledged.
    Start with these, as they are the only ones who responded. Even though it took multiple attempts to establish contact.

    I cannot even begin to express how unhappy I am with this company. It blows my mind that anyone could treat people in this manner and have no objections to blatantly abusive and misleading business practices.
    Especially in a "free" game, where I'm assuming they "enjoy" having paying customers. Obviously $5 is more important to them then having a paying customer base who doesn't feel ripped off.

    I wouldn't rely on PMing Dawnseeker out of that bunch. Cleverly, I traced a mail that was sent to him to see how long it would take him to answer it dealing with our server not having a Moderator and he hasn't even checked it since. The mail was sent on 09-02-2009 at 05:08 AM and still remains unchecked. The customer support on here and just as bad as the customer support in the game.

    Like I said in another post: "This game has gone to hell. Devs can't even properly run this game."

    Funny thing about this game is that they think it's the "best" online game ever too. rofl, what a joke.

    there never was a $5 for 250 cents. it was $5 (50 coins) plus a package that supposedly equals the amount of $25 USD. the package would be found in the little present icon in the upper-left corner of the screen. i bought the deal and it took a few hours for the package to show up, though i instantly got the 50 coins.

    sighs too many people make this mistake. before the 250 coins package, there WAS a deal for $5 for 200 coins i believe.. (correct me if i'm wrong) so that's why everyone gets mixed up.

    200 coins.... 250 coins... what's the difference? A 50 coin difference really in which he only received so he is rightfully missing coins in which he payed for since his money with to a package offering more coins for his hard-working money.

    This is why I don't buy coins at all, to much hassle and things can go wrong. Don't know where your money is going anyways.

    he said he bought the $5 for 250c *package*

    i think it's misleading, and obviously it is since so many people think they're getting 250 coins when they're really paying for a package deal. they're not going to get 300 coins out of this, they're getting 50 coins PLUS a package that does not have any coins in it at all.

    Well not sure about the timing, but the first package was really 250 cents for $5. Then a week after that they released the 250 "cents worth" of package for $5, which was obviously confusing to a lot of folks. Although I'll admit that if you actually read the description it was reasonably clear that it was 50 cents and some stuff. That said, since it was a week after the actual 250 cents deal people just went by the quick description.

    You can tell that they are reacting to what people said to some degree though. The package this week now "$5 for $20 package and 50 Cents." So I guess at least the devs get some amount of credit for making future things more clear. Not that this excuses not responding to all customer service contacts especially from paying customers. You'd think the fact that the person already showed that they were willing to spend money on the game would lead the evony folks would make some minimal effort to keep them as a paying customer, but alas that isn't the case.
