What do you reckon the odds are of that happening ? The amulet is obviously rigged.

Is that so that i will buy more and more game coins ?
There is no sign of the $20 bonus pack that is supposed to come with it either.

This is clearly deceptive and unconscionable conduct, designed to encourage us to purchase game coins to save our invested time and effort from dissipating. This conduct needs to be reported to the correct authorities.
I have reported this to the Evony contact line, without a response. How long will this post remain on the forum ?
Medals are one way to raise loyalty of your heroes, you could have just used gold instead. You were the one that chose to use medals when the little menu came up with gold as an option, so why would you complain when you just clicked away without thinking about it?

If you come to a fork in the road, take it!

You have to remember that EVERYTHING in Evony is designed to get you to spend money!!!! - getting the required medals can take forever unless you buy them, upgrading your buildings and research can take forever unless you buy the speed up items, training troops takes forever unless you buy the required guides etc.
There is no way that you can exchange items earned/won for things that will help you progress.
Even if you can spend 24/7 on the game you will still have to sit and wait for lvl9 buildings for anything up to a week to complete and research can be even longer.
This whole operation is a business and the developers are in it to make as much money as they can.
If you don't want to spend money then you will have to just sit back and pray that some ***se hole does not wipe you out too often before you can get yourself a nice fortifide city and the assistance from an alliance.

Please, all it takes is a little effort to get the medals you don't have to spend a dime. The only people that need to spend money are the ones that want all the promotions right now and don't want to put time into it.

Also, all he had to do was give gold to his heroes to up their loyalty. So tell me how is that forcing him to spend money? Gold costs you nothing to make in game, as long as you have a population you have gold. If you are so against Evony why are you still here?

First off I am not against the game, just pointing out the facts of (Evony) life.
Yes you can reward with gold instead of medals to promote loyalty but what I was pointing out was how long the game will take if you are not prepared to spend a little. Loyalty has no effect on the rate at which you find medals. Loyalty does not have any effect on the speed of building, research or training. To up their experience and so their effect on "times" you need to attach NPCs or other players. Attacking undefended cities gains you no experience. And so you can have Millions in gold but a poor level hero with 100% loyalty that has no effect on the time it takes to train your troops or research in the acadamy. Spend a little bit of cash for some guides and you can speed up the prossess.

There are many other ways to up your hero's XP. For instance I just won 5 "On War" yesterday, they add 100k XP to your hero each use. I have plenty of other items that add XP too, just haven't used them. The quickest way to advance your heroes XP is to attack NPC's. Attack lvl 5 NPC's with them and you can get some pretty good XP without losing any troops, just send about 400 ballista each attack. I was able to get quite a bit XP out of 3 attacks a day using that method.

You were saying about using medals, if you read the description for the medals it is to up loyalty. You could have simply used gold for that.
