with the myriad of problems this game STILL has, and the Devs constant foisting of BS "look what you get when pay our exorbitant prices for in game coins" mail messages.
1) On the Rally Spot troop dispatch window....why is it that when there are two digits in each of the times, the arrival time rolls down a line and can not be read? A simple thing I'd think, to make that window display just a wee bit wider to accommodate this. Particularly given that the time are displayed using a 24 hour clock and it is therefore absolutely unavoidable that this will arise.
2) Speaking of time displays...why in the hell is your march times displayed in that players local time and not in Evony Time? Makes coordination of attacks a REAL chore, when you have multiple players in multiple time zones involved.
3) Why do arrival times change? When coordinating mass strikes, timing maybe required down to the second. When a group is sent, and it shows an arrival time of XX:XX:03...why an hour later will that same group now show an arrival time of XX:XX:06? I understand fully that IRL, exact arrival times are impossible to project. But this isnt real life is it? This is a computer model with the ability to compute exact travel times over precise distances. Once that computation is done, IT SHOULD NOT CHANGE.
I was this morning, launching 40 waves at a distant NPC. My initial assault wave, was shown at launch as arriving at XX:XX:02. This is significant in that this village regens at the :02 time mark. I then had another 38 waves, landing at the :03 and :04 times, with the capping wave landing at the :05 mark. An hour later and while still launching some of these waves, as I went in to verify that waves arrival time (which if off I would recall and then resend), I noticed that NONE of the waves were now landing at the :02 mark, several were landing at the :05 mark and 1 was landing at the :09 mark! My initial assault wave, which absolutely HAD to be the first wave to land, was now mixed in with a variety of the followup waves. Obviously this is not going to work and that alone would result in having to recall everything. But now my capping wave was shown as arriving not 3 seconds prior to the village regenerating defenses but 1 second AFTER. If you are going to regen defenses with precision; then we need to be able to march with precision.
4) As I was sending these assaults; I was obviously using Camp Time to delay each wave so as to ensure it landed at a precise moment. SO here I am, watching the timer, waiting for it to display XX:XX:03 so I could hit OK and send the next wave due to land at XX:XX:04...and BAM! The timer jumps from XX:XX:02 to XX:XX:04 with NO 3rd second after the minute. Since when do minutes have 59 seconds in them? IN your screwed up little world, do you count 1-2-4..... (which frankly, would probably go a long ways toward explaining some of the problems this game has.)
5) Speaking of Camp Time, why do groups camp on their way back home? The ONLY function for camp time, is to time the arrival precisely, of a group, on the target area. So why when returning, does that group camp again????? (I'd like a reason for this OTHER than the obvious admission that the Devs were too lazy to insert a line of code to delete the camp time on the return march and instead just used the same variable value for the original total march time TO the target.)
6) FIX the medal drop rates already. They are SUBSTANTIALLY too low and you full well know it. It took me over 6 WEEKS, of 100 barb raids/day, to land the required Honor Medals for promotion in title. I happen to be unemployed atm and am therefore able to devote FAR too much time to this game. If I were a casual gamer, playing say 2 or 3 hours day maximum....at the rate I experienced it would be 2012 before I found the required medals. Oh I know...buy meal boxes and you dont have to wait. If I HAVE to buy medal boxes to get promoted, then the game isnt "free" and you are guilty of false advertising now huh? Right, 'the player can play without getting promoted". This is true, upto a given point in time on any given server. Then if you arent amongst those with 7+ cities...you WILL be reduced to a singular city of burning rubble. At that point, with LOY 0, population 0 and a city count of 1...you really cant play anymore can you? Unless you buy a Speech Text, in which case the game isnt free and you are guilty of....(care to fill in the blank?)
So DEVS, I beseech you, I beg of you, I implore you...FIX SOME OF THE PROBLEMS IN THIS GAME. Spend a wee little less time trying to figure out how to screw us out of our money and a wee little bit MORE time in figuring out how to make it WORTH our spending some money on.
