I say this because from a grammatical standpoint, these are the two ideas you just combined:
I hope this thread will lead to flaming and/or trolling.
I hope this thread wasn't done flaming and/or trolling.

A better sentence would be:
I hope this thread was not made for, nor will it lead to flaming and/or trolling.

I mean...I know you're a Frenchman, but COME ON!
