    Its like sitting on a merry-go-round. How, Dev can people possibly think of 'Build your army, get stronger, then raid his cities and get your revenge' when the system wont allow it - us they will always be steps ahead, and can quite easily push us back where we started!? Which i WHY i said this rule need be implemented.. Although I agree with some of the things you've said, you seem to be missing the point as to what I'm saying.. If the game had a cap on who could/can't be attacked - THEN YES i could 'Build your army, get stronger, then raid his cities and get your revenge.'...

    But as it stands, that will never happen due to the rules. Logic people.

    thats not a bad idea actually, im a higher prestiage player yes you lose honor for attacking wearker players but that isnt enough, you have to play in a range or have a pvp option on wether or not people can fight you and you can fight certain people with a 24 or 48 hour cool down if someone changes there minds.... You are right my friend people target newer players on the map transporters youo have to pay for and so forth isnt enough and changing to a new server isnt going to help you out when someone is spending $'s to play so theres that solution out the door.

    No1 is nerfing your ambiton, because you can always PLAN with your players in prestige range,but when some1 with 52k prestige comes knocking on the door of a player with say 10k prestige, just a question on when they will quit the game, there isnt a question on who is going to win, there are other ways to dominate, and smother players without using your military might on weaker newer players. Weekend warrior? I Love games like these the last one i played that i actually enjoyed like this was shut down because they couldnt afford the server or w/e after 2+ years. But they had restrictions like this to keep the more powerful players from farming the crap out of less strong players.

    they are setting up new servers, every few DAYS not months. i wouldnt be surprised to see 10 servers by end of next week lol

    NEWS FLASH: new servers dont solve anything, because new players will always be joining servers. That is all

    sorry to say so, but then i for one would could join 432 alliances, and leave again till my prestige was so low i could attack them, a lot of rules had to be changed.

    otherwise an OK idea.

    Swabia alliance is looking to do something epic, control all of Swabia. Thats the whole point of there alliance name. My alliance is based in Lombardy on server 2. We dont accept anyone not in Lombardy. We seek to conquore and dominate all of Lombardy by any means. If you accept us as your overlords in Lombardy, we set you as "Friendly". If you resist, we go to war.

    If your being attacked, you have 3 options:
    - Fight back
    - Surrender and ask for peace
    - Retreat / Teleport your city

    Diplomacy is a huge part of this game. If a stronger lord in your area has his eyes on you, make a treaty. Maybe even pay tribute in exchange for safety. Thats the price you pay for being weaker. Build your army, get stronger, then raid his cities and get your revenge.

    That makes the game fun. Without war, the game would be just another stupid browser games based on a meaningless ranking system where people build up useless cities all day long with no end game goal in sight.

    The worst thing a game company can do is nerf ambitions players for the sake of whining weekend warriors. Players with ambition will play for a long time and create a stable community. Weekend warriors will go "ohh shiney!" and run off to the next game when they get bored of sitting still for too long.
    Agree with MOST of what you say here, however.... The truth is there are ppl (and a lot of them by the way) who are perfectly fine paying $50 or more to dominate the game. That being the case, all it really gurantees is that ppl spending money will completely dominate the established servers pretty quickly (see srv 1&2) and new ppl simply will stop playing. This might be what UMGE wants, they want to make money like any company, and that is fine. But the truth is, unless you are prepared to fork over some cash, it is really only a matter of time before some huge uber alliance will walk all over you. After all, you cant even advance your buildings to the highest level without a Michaelangelo's script....
