I guess my only question is: are the Moderators not accused of wrongdoing going to stay out of it? I feel that to keep the debate fair, each side should be limited to one contestant.

True, true, but mods don't always check the report forum if there isn't a grievance about them. This way the message is sure to be received.

seriously, if people would stop closing threads that do not break rules, I'd shut the h#ll up and leave y'all alone.

In case it is not yet apparant, it is about the only way to p!ss me off.

I agree with closing a thread that degenerates into pure argument, or is full of obscenity, but holy freakin jeebus, threads have been closed for the dumbest reasons, and that results in ten times the headache (my fault) than just letting it die a natural death.

of course, when I get banned, that may make things easier too.

Yea, but the problem is we'll get a new member who decides to become a necromancer and raises threads back up from the dead. Then we get ZOMBIE THREADS. And no one wants to go through and read an old thread.

Maybe some mods are just lock-happy, idk. But I always tried to close old/answered threads so they don't become zombies.
