    Default Prestige building

There are several ways to quickly build prestige.

One such way is to send 5K warriors out with your level 5 farming runs. Gets maybe 200 prestige per attack. Send 1500 warriors against a level 2 NPC also gets a bit of prestige.

The above exampls all require troop losses to gain prestige. Other than that, building and making troops is the only way to do it without losses.

Where the real prestige building kicks in though, is farming lvl 10 NPC's. about 1100 prestige per a 95K rainbow depending on troop losses. More prestige if you lost more than 6500 archers, less if you lost less than 6500 archers.

Prestige via losses also ramps up depending on the troops you lost. Losing 1K pikes gets you more prestige than losing 1K warriors.

Without knowing where you are prestige and army wise, it's hard to reccommend a way for you to do it that suits your level of army.

Some say prestige is not important, In part that is true. The maximum prestige that you "need" is 256K. 256K prestige is what is required for the "Prinzessin" title. Any prestige over that is not necessary, but it helps with keeping the wolves off of your doorstep. Someone with 300K prestige WILL shy away from attacking someone with 600K prestige. one of the quests requires you to build 512K prestige, but not completeing that quest in no way hampers progression through the game.

You must be careful to build an army capable of defending your prestige level though. DON'T go hog wild building and spamming an army and leave yourself short on defenses. Hiding behind high prestige can work for awhile, but sooner or later someone with more prestige WILL scout you. If you don't have the defenses to back yourself up, you are generally toast.

Couple other things to keep in mind when looking for prestige..

    1. The total prestige you gain per each act seems to be inversely proportional to your total townhall levels.. I believe I saw something to the effect of (act prestige) / (total townhall levels in all cities) = (actual prestige gained).
Thus, somebody with a high level townhall will get less prestige per each thing they do than somebody with a lower level townhall, and somebody with multiple high level townhalls will get even less prestige, for each individual thing that gains prestige.

Course, that can be offset in terms of gain rate by being able to build multiple things at once with multiple cities.. but it's still somethin to consider.

    2. You actually get small amounts of prestige for Comforting. Disaster Relief gets you somethin like 6-8 per use.. and if you have enough food, you can pop that off every 15 min... adds up over time.
