    Can You Help?

    I have a question.
Does anyone know of any action ever being taken ingame against anyone?
We have all read about multi accounts, bots and hacks and even account theft. What I would like to know is if the company that runs the game ever acts on any of the information they recieve.
Please don't post here any arguments about how multiple accounts or scripts are not so bad. I really just want to find out if there is any ingame management or not.

If you have ever seen anyone who you reported or know to have been reported suddenly vanish from the game, or seen names that were near the top of the rankings take a sudden dive down, I guess that could be seen as evidence. I will be interested to see how this goes.

Since playing from June (I quit in August), I relized after sending in multiple reports of such things outlined in your post, but nothing was addressed.

    Saddening really.

    Life goes on.

I'm sure I will get flamed and called a liar here, but I personally have been involved in many actions of this type. It DOES happen, and there most certainly IS in-game enforcement.

u got any info on the "in-game enforcement"? i have yet to c any of any kind.
i.e. alliance names such as: kk.. nigge.. ****yo... to name a few. not that it offends me in any way, just seems stuff of that sort would b really easy to handle via many diff. methods. same w/ player names. plz enlighten me =)).
edit: maby this is considered ok though. this is a "R" rated game? i dont remember anything saying i have to b an adult to play, though i do overlook alot.

I don't think so, but looking at the ad campaign... XD

I've never seen any kind of enforcement myself, though I am new. However, when searching for medal strategies, I came across SO MANY bot threads and people bragging about their constant bot use for months and months. Why bother with a game if you aren't going to play it? Meh.

I won't say what specifically, but a certain cheat was stopped with the Oct 29th hot fix that wasn't listed in the update notes.

They do notice and take action, they just can't be everywhere at once.

I would think it would be in the many thousands.

There seemed to be no fear of being caught out running bots and there was also discussion on the strategy of combining botting with multiple accounts.
It's the unfortunate nature of the beast:

If you're caught botting the punishment is getting banned... from an online game... which is free. For the average botter, that's not much incentive NOT to bot. Couple this with poor in-game policing and built in preventitive measures and it doesn't make for an environment that discourages the botters.

As FB said, it does happen. But it's so rare that it's like downloading music: for every person that's caught and punished, there are hundreds or thousands more who aren't.
Confusion is a state of mind... or is it?
