I find the entire concept of perfection to be a pointless discussion. Semantics and perspective will always skew it.
However, I think simply the state of being human means we can never achieve any state even resembling perfection. We are a species that thrive on greed, one-upsmanship, and material goods and pleasures. There is no utopia, and there will always be dissenters.
Prime example of perspective: the girl someone posted on the first page? The doctor considers her perfection. I have seen drag queens that are more to my ideal of a perfectly beautiful woman than that woman is (and more feminine!).
The true concept of perfection would have to be to be universal, and that is utterly impossible, even if our definition includes those things ingrained in human nature like greed and status.
