    PPP Efficiency Rating- What's Yours?

PPP [Prestige-Per-Player] Efficiency is a new ranking system I made up to predict the competitiveness of alliances, based on the #1 alliance's prestige.
I'd like some input to see if this is a good system or a bad system...
    Please do the following:
    1. Calculate your alliance's PPP:

Just divide the prestige of your alliance by the number of members. Round up or down if necessary. Example: Jaq?Swe's PPP is 238,650 (approximately)

    2. Calculate same for your server's #1 alliance:

Divide the #1 alliance's prestige by the number of members it has. Round up or down if necessary. Example: Jaq?One's PPP is 812,849 (approximately)

    3. Calculate PPP Efficiency Rating:

Divide your alliance's PPP by the #1 alliance's PPP to get the number. Round up or down to the hundredth place if necessary. Example: Jaq?Swe's PPP Efficiency Rating is approximately 0.29, as 238650/812849 is approximately 0.29

    4. Post and vote on poll

Here's what I'd like a post in this thread to look like:

    Your Alliance Name/Ranking/PPP
    Server Number
    #1 Alliance Name/PPP
    Your Alliance's PPP Efficiency
    Any comments...

    Example:
    Jaq?Swe/44/238650
    Server 31
    Jaq?One/812849
    0.29
I wonder if this is good or bad

Use that info to vote on the poll (self-explanatory)

    Comments:
    1. Obviously, the #1 alliance will always have a PPP Efficiency Rating of 1
    2. I don't know what's good or bad PPPER unless you provide feedback!
    3. Please post AND vote on poll for best interpretation.
    4. You don't have to calculate for you own alliance- any alliance is fine.
    5. If you don't wanna calculate so much, check posts to see if your server's #1 alliance's PPP has already been calculated.

Thanks in advance... Let's see what this is good for!

Once there are enough votes and feedback posts, I'll analyze this and see what's a good goal for alliances. Obviously, 1 or above has to be good.

    thanks for the feedback...
I'm trying to see if this is useful for anything more than the obvious.
The PPP thing can be used to show competitiveness of an alliance ranking-wise.
So, now the average is 0.39, based on all posts up to #2.

    My Alliance: Phase1(tm) / Rank 5/ PPP 832471.75
    Server 30
    #1 Alliance: Chosen / Rank 1 / PPP 814927.94
    Phase1(tm) Efficiency Rating: 1.02

Just to put things into perspective number 2 alliance is
    #2 Alliance: Saints / Rank 2 / 864815.95
Prestige is screwed up by their Noobius, rank 1 civillian with a bunch of prestige...

Nice. I didn't think that there were that many Top 10 alliances with over 1.0 PPPER. Will revise analyses accordingly.
    Thanks for your time.

    Server 28:
    my alliance: Psn-Ivy rank 62 PPP = 245809
    #1 alliance: OTB PPP=1025787
    Psn-Ivy efficiency = .24
I think a combination of PPP, total prestige, and total members gives the best idea of an alliances competitiveness. Two alliances with similar PPP's but a large gap in members will likely not be at the same level of competitiveness. I do like your idea for PPPER though.

Why not also factor in Honor since it's the only other visible method of comparison? There are some alliances out there with much more Honor than Prestige that I'd consider competitive. I've also seen alliances in the top 10 by Prestige that had mainly SimCity players on the rosters that were as competitive as a wet paper bag. May be something to consider.

Thanks for the feedback... once I can analyze the results accurately(need around 10 more), I'll factor in your ideas to make a more efficient system of ranking.

^I don't think having a PPPER in the thousandths is highly competitive.
Then again, it might be a shortcoming in the formula...
    I'll fix it soon.
