    Default Threatened to join alliance.

I was threatened...I am so scared now

Would you like to join our alliance- ********. We are rank ***** in honor, and rank ***** in prestige. We also have numerous, strong alliance members near you (about ** *** members located around ***** miles around you).

    Plesae mail me your answer,

    Thanks
    *****
Whatever am I going to do

I am too lazy to look, but am I the only one of decent prestige who is without an alliance? I have deleted 8 offers, 2 since I came and checked my acount 45 minutes ago.

Any one out there want to make an alliance of 2 just to get people to quit sending messages about joining an alliance. At this point in the game that is the only reason I would join one

That doesn't look like much of a threat. Looks like they asked politely. o_O Or am I missing something?

It was the threat of having so many players in the alliance who are close to me. Like if a skunk turns away from you and raises its tail; you know there is a possible danger and try to avoid that danger. Generally avoid people in their general area for that reason.

It's a GOOD thing to be close to people bigger than you, so long as you agree with how their alliance works and they want you! But if you want to know about threats...

I was holding out for an alliance on server 2 before, and I had a few offers I was considering. I then started getting attacked about ten minutes out of my protection by a guy three times my size at the time messaging me "join or die"

I had no choice, this is war! So he stopped, and I joined them. I was officially assimilated. Then I got an offer from their opposing enemy a few weeks later, demolished my enemy, got kicked, and burned them all Nobody tells you to join or die... Bad form

*SECOND NOTE* lets keep the insults to never please

Yes, please. Let's not get hostile. However, Jato, you can teleport over to map coordinates (666,999) if you want to have fun. That area is called Neverland.

    Its actually called BOHEMIA

I dont think theres anything really WRONG with having an agressive expansion plan for a powerfull alliance, however if you are part of an alliance who carries on like that you allways need to be expect that the day will come when you do it to someone who can come and treat you like his wife, or someone with a friend who is tougher then your friends, in the end it probably wont be worth it, diplomacy has to play a part in successfull expansion.

This is the message I send out, when people reject me the first time. Of course, I show them my army first.

"Hi, here's the thing. You're way to close to *******. We're pretty much all around you to the north. We really can't accept the fact that we have another alliance's member in the middle of our territory. If I was in the middle of (other alliance)'s territory you would be doing the same thing to me. So here's the deal. Either you join us, or you teleport away. I hate to be blunt about this, but I really can't accept anything else. "

I am trying to think of a nice way to say this, but really, chill out kid, this is just a game, I mean people play this to have fun and relax and your pulling out highschool dram clickish if your not with me your against me threats, if they attack you thats one thing, but if not than thats a little uncalled for. Also consider this, the people in your alliance should be thouse you trust, if you are in an aliance only under threat of destruction, how can you ever rely on your alliance mates, and how can they ever rely on you? As for the original post, I agree that sounds more like due diligance on the alliance more than a threat

And one more question Kamakaze, you say this is the message you send out after the first rejection, do you only invite people whom you surround, or is there a lack of truth to your message

You mean - keep your friends close, your enemies even closer? Don't you think poorly veiled threats are part of the fun? If you take away player interaction, what are you left with - attacking the NPC's? That's just an exercise in mathematics. Attack x with x*2 + hero attributes to win. YAWN......
