We better hope that machines don't become self aware or they may decide that humans are the problem. That sounds like a few movies I have seen.

Singularity? That term sounds like it was coined by someone who didn't really understand black holes or technological advancement. Then again it was coined 45 years ago. That is so long ago that I doubt that anyone at that time could have predicted the directions that technology has taken. By now we were all supposed to be living on the moon and flying around in rocket cars. I want my rocket car!
