Although there IS a blood disease/disorder that they call Vamperism (sp?). My Mother-in-Law has it.

true, it's a psychological disease that make you wanna drink blood
some effects are believed to be that if you are anemic, your mind generally suggests that you take blood, to counter Iron deficiency,
