    Cool

The Dragonlance Saga, consisting of a story that spans over 30 books by various authors, the majority coming from Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. My favorite single book has to be 'The Soulforge;' favorite Trilogy is likely the War of the Souls, simply for the reminiscing value.

So what will you do when they call your name and you're not ready to go?
Everyone will stare at you and tell you what you know
That you're in too deep and you can't quite keep your secrets, one and all
We might just make it after all, on our own

I think I've read just about everything by Tolkien I could get my hands on. Another favorite of mine off the top of my head is Herbert West--Reanimator by H.P. Lovecraft. Also the same holds true of what I said about Tolkien for R.A. Salvatore

Wheel of time series by Robert jordan is great though keeping up with all the characters and remember what is going is sometimes aggravating and the series is really long, and the last 3 books which are being written by another author using everything RJ left behind as he knew he was going to die soon so he left alot of manuscripts and chapter outlines and such.

my favorite series I have read is Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind, most people don't like his writing style but honestly he is one of the easiest authors to read, with little or no time spent trying remember what made up word means what.

I read a little of the inheritance cycle well the first two books, not bad but you can tell the author and editor both have issues with spelling.

Tolkien, yeah i burn his books, he is possibly the most annoying writer to have ever written a book, the insanity of his descriptive nature in his writing leaves me feeling like i have a Tolkien tumor attached to the part of my brain that handles memory.

my favorite book would have to be a tie between Wizards first rule(book 1 sword of truth) and Fires of Heaven(book 5 wheel of time), though kurt Vonnegut's Galapagos is definitely close behind.

    thanks Ashley39 for the sig!
