    I. TROOP TRAINING

    1. Numer of Barracks- Start out with 9 or 10 barracks. You demolish inn, Workshop, Forge, and some other buildings when your done with research. You should have 15 barracks in a balanced city.

    2. Level of Barracks- You should have about 4 lv 9, then rest at least lv 4. Then try to get some up to 5, this way you can train Calvary much faster. But as you progress through the game, keep upgrading barracks until you get to the point where you have all level 9s.

    3- What do I do with all these barracks?- You share them to all the other barracks. Ex. If you are training 5k archers, and you have 10 lv 4 barracks or above, then you divide the amount of time by 10! Thats 10x faster Archer production. But be smart about it. Sometimes you should use the "share to idle barracks only" box.

    4- Maximizing troop production

    4A- Okay now that you have your barracks completed, and have a general idea of how you train, you must know how many to train, priority, etc etc. First Go to your feasting hall and switch your hero with the best attack mayor, this lowers training time significantly.

    4B- Once you have switched your hero, go to production, then set everything to 0. Except maybe food. This will give you full or close to full idle population.

    4C- Now its time to train your troops. Go to your highest level barracks and start training your troops! Make sure you share the training to the other barracks somehow, whatever your preference is.

    5- My suggestion- Okay heres how I train

    5A. I always do Half of whatever is my maximum training capacity. So In order to get best results, you should have a priority list. Here is my list. Note- This is for a regular training round. If you need one thing, then move it to the top

    5B *Archers
    * Cataphracts
    * Scouts
    * Transporters
    * Warriors

    At different times, you will need to train diffirent troops. In the beginning focus only on transporters and Ballistae until you get about 450 Ballistae and 500 transporters. Once you have achieved this goal, Start training Archers only until you get to about 100k. Then Mix it up a bit with scouts, Cataphracts, and warriors.

    6. Troops and their uses

    Worker- Very cheap, and its what you get. Workers almost do nothing. They provide a big load, but have almost no fighting ability. Best use it to build new cities with. In combat, workers will always stay out of battle until they are the last troop alive. Ex. Let's say we use the 5,000 range scenario. You send 50k Warriors wand 50k Workers and 1 trap against the opponent's 40k Warriors. As soon as Round 1 starts, Workers will stand still. They stay at the 5,000 range until they are no enemies left.

    Warrior- Cheapest troop in the game. Also one of the most used and loved. Warriors in themselves have many uses. Most people will use warriors in clearing out pesky fortifications such as traps, Rolling logs, and Defensive Trechbauchets. Another big use of Warriors is to use them while hitting down a level 10 NPC's loyalty(Look under capturing a level 10 NPC). Yet another use of warriors is to use them as layering for your archers.

    Scout- Relatively cheap, and another favorite of Evony users throughout the game. The first and main use is to Scout. Simple, yet an important job. Having the ability to send 100k scouts will let you scout nearly everyone, especially early in the game. Another use of scouts is to defend against enemy scouting. By opening your gates and having many scouts, it will be nearly impossible to scout you. If the enemy can't get a scouting report, he most likely won't attack you. Third and most important use of scouts is the usage of them in a tactic called "Scout Bombing." This method is used to slowly whittle down an opponents Archer levels. The idea is that the scouts, with amazing speed, will reach the Archers in Round 1, and deal heavy damage to them. This tactic is now being used a lot now all over Evony servers. The fourth and final reason why Scouts are necessary, is because you need them to DEFEND against the scout bomb. Having 1 million scouts let's say, while keep you very safe from a potential Scout Bomb.
    Pikeman- This particular troop is probably the most unused troop in the game. Basically, their only use it to smack Cavalry/Cataphracts around, and be used in layering. Other than those two reasons, Pikemen are just a waste of Lumber.

    Swordsman- What looks like a very formidable troop early on, becomes almost completely irrelevant later in the game. Best use of Swordsmen is to defend against the Scout bomb as they have slightly more speed then Archers, and would take the brunt of the Scout bomb hit without much damage as Swordsmen have high defense.

    Archer- Easily becomes the best unit in the game. In a game where speed and range are king, archers have massive range. Coupled with their cheapness, Archers are the most effective unit in the game. Archers are the best unit when attacking an opponent's city. You want to put a main focus on them. I would list the reasons to train them, but quite simply, I don't even need to put a reason.
    Cavalry- Another very good unit in Evony. Cavalry are what you could call "Archer killers." Although more expensive, Cavalry absolutely crush Archers. Their speed helps Cavalry to get into a close proximity of Archers very quickly, and they have a nice bonus of 1.5x the damage to Archers. You send 50k Cavalry against 100k Archers, and you expect to win. Cavalry can also be used in lowering an opponent's loyalty real quick, as Cavalry have 1000 speed. Now, you might be wondering why you wouldn't use scouts, as they are even faster then Cavalry. This is because scouts cannot do any damage to walls, and they are pointless in attacking a Wall with.
    Cataphract- Basically Cavalry's older brother. Used in the same context of Cavalry, but have much better defense and attack. One big problem with Cataphracts though, is their ridiculous Iron cost.

    Transporters- The load gurus. They have a load of 5000, which helps you transport goods to other members in your alliance, and raiding other players cities(or NPCs).

    Ballista- Slower and more powerful version of Archers. Would be the best force in the game, except for horrible weakness against good wall defense, and the cost to build. Instrumental in NPC farming

    Battering Rams- Seems like a waste of time, but they are not what they seem. You can use the to create a "diversion" while you have a ranged unit firing away without resistance.

    Catapults- The strongest unit in the game. Very slow, and very expensive. Mainly used in defense.

    7..
    Level of barracks and resources needed to train various troops

    I star the expensive particular thing needed. These are the major Weakness for the building of this solider

    Worker- 1/50/150/10/2/1- No tech needed

    Warrior- 1/80/100/50/3/1- No tech needed

    Scout- 2/120/200/150/5/1- Informatis lv 1

    Pikemen- 2/150/*500/100/6/1- Military Tradition lv 1

    Swordsmen- 3/200/150/*400/7/1- Iron Working lv 1

    Archer- 4/300/350/300/9/2- Archery lv 1

    Calvary- 5/1000/*600/500/18*/3- Horseback Riding lv 1

    Cataphract- 7/2000/500/*2500/*35/6- Horseback riding and Iron working lv 5

    Transporter- 6/600/*1500/350/10/4- Logistics lv 1, Metal Casting lv 3

    Ballista- 9/2500/*3000/2500/*50/5- Archery lv 6, Metal Casting lv 5
