    Cool Email Feedback

I want to just put out there that as a company you are going to send out mail to the players that say stuff like Free packages make it actually be true. Yes yes you get a 2 for 1 deal but that is not free. Say 2 for 1. It is deceptive to the core. It is feed back. As a company you want your clients to trust you. This is one of the small things that infuses distrust. Take it or leave it

I agree, they need to be free. But unfortunately they give you the choice. They never tell you you have to pay for every activity, just some.

    Thank you captian Virk!

Both posts do not address what I was saying.

    1) Not saying they need to be free or that they don't give me a choice. In fact did not say that in any part of my post. Saying that they need to be more straight forward and tell it as it is

    2) Not saying its an illegal tactic what it is is deceptive and sort of cheap and something that you have to pay money for to get ie 30, 60, 90 dollars is not free Free is something you get without having to give anything problem is consumerism has fubared what it actually means by slapping free up everywhere. What you have here is 2 for the price of 1 or other combinations of that nature as you PAY more, again not free. You can't lump the two in together.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:
My grocery store has been advertising their "FREE Turkeys" for weeks now. The word "FREE" is plastered in huge red print on every flyer, advertising circular, and sign in the store. But you have to spend x amount of money on groceries to get the certificate for the free turkey.

It's a common marketing strategy, because the word "FREE" gets everyone's attention. If I sent you a mail that said "Spend some money today to get..." would you even open it and read it? But one that says "FREE Packages" gets you reading. Marketing, by its very nature, is all about getting attention. I blame the capitalists.
