    Default hostile neutral friendly declarations

It's been said before, and so it shall be said again. I'm making sure of that. I think this is a really important part of the game that's been over-looked/ignored by the developers.
Please read my following rant/discussion, and reply with your own rant/discussion.

There needs to be a report for when an alliance declared war on your alliance. If my alliance declares war on another alliance, I've got that little red flag that shows me how I should regard the other alliance. I even get a system message saying, 'hey! you're at war!'
If another alliance declares war on me, it's just as relevant to my interests, yet I have no idea how they think of my alliance unless I happen to be online while they do the declaring. For the most part, I've got no knowledge about whether my city's resting in a good or a bad spot. My neighbors could potentially be building their armies up against me, and I would have no idea.
I hate to break this one out, but IN REAL LIFE (yes, I just brought out the IRL bomb in a forum about a MMORPG... live with it), this would not happen. Especially if I were the lord of a big city. I would at least know what was going on in the cities surrounding mine. I would have some sort of idea about their intentions, especially if they were hostile...and especially if they...oh what's the word... decolored? declarated? no... that's not it... oh yeah. DECLARED WAR ON ME! I think I'd know about that.
But... hmm... this game's developers apparently overlook this idea.
All i get is this little message in the chat box that disappears after i log off. i mean, my god! That's hardly comparable to medieval times at all. Do you know how many people would be knocking on their lord's doors saying "hey... um... lord... this other lord really hates us. he wants to kill us. oh, and btw... he's declared war on us." There'd be a ton of people. Zounds, even. There would even be people with the specific jobs outlined to bring this kind of news. They're called spies. These spies are masterful citizens of one kingdom that go into another kingdom and find out what's going on. Scouts are not spies. Spies eat scouts for breakfast. Part of a complete breakfast. Only thing they're missing is awesomeness and... and... attractiveness. Btw... there's no charge for awesomeness, or attractiveness. name that movie and i'll give you a treat. anywho, back to my rant.
Give me something more reliable than that little declaration in the chat window that tells me what's going on. Maybe have that little chat window's war reports saved for a certain amount of time for viewing...so that any active player could browse through the day's declarations and find out where their team stands?
How about it players of Evony!?
    ARE YOU WITH ME!?
    ARE YOU AGAINST ME?!
    ARE YOU NEUTRAL TO ME?!

    Thanks for your responses.

I think you're missing something because when another alliance declares at the one I'm in, I get an email in game saying, such and such alliance declares war at us (with the standard text following).

At least, this happens on server N1, but I can't imagine that being the only server.

The other way around is a bit more problematic, unless you are online, you do not know wether your alliance is at war with another alliance or not, unless you immediately check the alliance button.

    wut?

When someone declares war on you...relations automatically turn to Hostiles, their flag turns red and you get a little letter.

Sounds like something might be off in your server, I'm fairly confident it's standard across the game to get a system mail any time your alliance declares war or an alliance declares war on yours.
    It's all Rodri's fault.

It's that way on N1 and WN4... when a war declaration is made a system mail is sent out to everyone in both alliances.

What would be nice though is if a system mail was sent out for all diplomatic actions. Such as when some alliance sets you to Neutral or Friendly but you aren't online so you don't see it and never reciprocate till the start asking you why you hadn't in accordance with your agreement!!! Now that is frustrating because when they annul you appear as a gray flag to them, but they still are red for you!!

It's been like that since May...

If you aren't getting a system mail when another alliance declares war on yours then your server must be broken.

I've always gotten a system mail in my inbox when another alliance declares war, and flags go red on both sides unless one side annuls it.
