    I managed to find the name I was looking for, so I nominate the bar be re-named:

    The Chestnut Tree

    It's a literary reference from George Orwell's book 1984. It is the bar where Winston Smith spends his last days after his full confession and trial. It is the bar where all known dissidents who have confessed and been tried await their execution in London, never knowing when it will come.
