You should explain the use of camp timers.

1)Scout- Get the most scouts you can and get all the info your alliance needs.

2)Lake Theft- (Optional)Take all there lakes to cause a shortage of food production.

3)Warrior raids- This attack usually consists of 100k plus warriors. They will die, but they will take out a lot of wall defenses. You will need to send possibly 5 of these at a city to destroy all of the traps and weaken the other defenses.
Warrior waves will take out traps only. If there's 1000+ traps, it's almost pointless to send warrior waves. If you are sending warriors only for the purpose of clearing traps, you'll want to send waves of 10k only.

4)Rain Bow- A rain bow is a attack consisting of great amounts of archers and 1 to 100 of warriors, cavalry, cataphract, scouts, swordsmen and pike men. The rainbows will kill the troops and the rest of the wall defenses depending on the amount you send as well as your archery level. And if that doesn't work scout spam them with 100k scouts, very effective also.
Rainbows are only good if there are no traps or abatis. If there are, it doesn't make much sense to rainbow your troops. I've seen 99k archers and a rainbow lose horribly to 200k archers, 5k ballista, and a full compliment of archer towers, traps, and abatis. By horribly, I mean no casualties on defender side. If the defender has no traps, but they have abatis, don't send cav or phracts. I believe combat will then start at archer tower range.

If combat starts at 5000, you'll have to use a little finesse to get rid of troops.

5)Layers- This is basically your average attack strategy of layered attacks, but instead here we are using it to finish up the job. It includes basically ponies, cats, archers, rams, warriors...
This is the most important, and I think you should have gone into more detail here, especially when talking about mass attacks on someone.

There are troops to defeat certain troops, and you need to first remove the defenders layers. It's also best if the defender isn't online.

Lets assume the defender has 17k archer towers, 1k traps, and 500 abatis. He also has 350k archers, 20k swords, 50k pikes, 40k warriors, 5000 ballista, 50k cav, and 20k phracts.

The defender has 1k traps and 500 abatis, so combat will start at 5000, which means the defenders fastest units will enter combat first. If you want to remove the cav layer, send 100k warrior waves. 50k cav, 3 100k warrior waves should do the trick. The next quickest unit is 20k phracts. The are a little tougher than cav, se you will either want to send 1 wave of 100k pikes to hit after the 3 waves of 100k warriors, or just send an extra 3 waves of 100k warriors.

So lets say you send 6 waves of 100k warriors, which removes the cav and phracts. You are left with 350k archers, 20k swords, 50k pikes, 40k warriors, and 5000 ballista. Next you'll want to remove the pikes. In order to remove pikes, send an archer bomb. For 50k pikes, 1 wave of 100k archers should do the trick.

So now you have 6 waves of warriors, followed by 100k archers. The defender now only has 350k archers, 20k swords, 40k warriors, traps, abatis, and 17k archer towers remain.

Now, you need to remove the swords layering. This is a bit more tricky. Admitedly, I haven't had much experience in remove the swords layering since most people I've attacked don't have many swords. I tend to just ignore them. I have tried sending an archer wave, but swords don't move quick enough to create enough seperation from the archers. If anyone knows of an attack that would remove the swords, I would appreciate being enlightened.

So at this point, I would now send waves of cataphracts combined with cav. Including archers in the wave would be pointless since combat starts at 5000 and the archers would be left behind when the cav and phracts charged. 3 waves of 95k phracts and 5k cav will most likly finish the job in the city. Another option would be to send rams and ballista as the final wave, and only send 1 or 2 waves of phracts. Since we will have multiple people participating in this attack, either strategy would work fine.

So we end up with in the end, 6 waves of 100k warriors, 1 wave of 100k archers, and 3 waves of 95k phracts and 5k cav. This will most likly clear what is in the city as long as he isn't reinforced.
