While the USA has any military power and political influence, it will never allow a United Europe. The joke is, while they were focused on Europe, China has suddenly become the economic powerhouse and the USA is heavily in debt to them.

The recent economic collapse was the death knell for the American Capitalist System, but it takes time for a monster so huge to totally die. The US government pumped billions of dollars in to try to delay the inevitable death (money borrowed mostly from China by the way) but the end is nigh.

Instead of uniting, Europe has been splintering into smaller and smaller states and there are still groups (i.e. Basque seperatists) who are pushing to divide Europe even more. Failing economies will help to increase the process of seperation as national economies collapse and different regions decide to seek their fortunes as a seperate entity.

some good points for sure but as you said it wont die out hard or over night and the US now has a So******t in power that is losing ground faster than any other president since Carter. Va and NJ were both won. No matter how much was dumped into the liberial media, the US is on its knees but not for long the real US is starting to wake up-
sucks cause you would want the first black pres to go down in history as one that was good instead the US got one that will go down as a failure in every way but was great at being able to fast talk.
Dont count the the US out yet, the Commie in power will never hold it...
