Plea for a community.

Being a mod has nothing to do with power and everything to do with wanting to actually help other members of the forum and help keep the forum a place that everyone can enjoy.

For some that might be true, but that doesnt apply to all mods. Also if that was true everyone would be happy but look at wildor. He knows whats up. But im not gonna agrue with u.

Its more than dont like is discrimination. I suppose It all has to do with who they actually pick for mods. People love power and when people get power they abuse it and let it go to there heads.

Actually Metal, Wildor is talking more about the players than the mods. Mods are not power crazy, or else the forums would be in much worse condition.

My main argument concerns exclusivity.

If that is what one seeks, then the group making function of this forum is ideally suited. Form a group, invite who you want, exclude who you want.

But this place here, the O-T, should be where we welcome all who wish to be part of our community. Regardless of their cultural taste or posting style. Always under forum rules, of course.

And again, what I plead for is that we all start seeing ourselves as a community. And take responsibility therein.

No, you guys do not understand. That is spamming and we can deal with it. Mods can delete threads and ban spammers. Spamming is against forum rules. People like Pieman or Ken, on the other hand, who act silly but do not actually spam do not deserve such negative treatment.
