Part 2 of 2.
*Speed Up-Revisited*
Going to your Speed Up tab you now have 4 items in there. You have Intermediate Guidelines, Primary Guidelines, Beginner Guidelines, and Merchant Fleet.
1st out of four is the Intermediate Guidlines. All of the guidelines here help in speeding up time it takes to construct a building. When building simply hit speed up on the building your constructing and choose your guidlines accordingly. Guidelines vary in time they can cut, from 15 minutes to 30 hours they aid in building construction. Here you MUST be wary when using guidelines since you are extremely limited on them. I recommend not using guidelines for simple constructions that only take 20 minutes or less. Longer constructions that take up to an hour might be useful if guidelines are used. Since many more guidelines are obtained by quests you can use more than given, but it is very adviceable that they are used only when direly needed. Intermediate Guidlines themselves reduce construction time by 2 and a half hours so it can be very useful when used properly.
Next is the Primary Guidelines. These are exactly as Intermediate Guidelines but instead reduce time by an hour.
3rd is Beginner Guidelines. Again, the same as the other guidelines except for the fact that it only reduces construction time by 15 minutes. These are fairly more common than the others so these can be used more often.
Lastly on Speed Up is the Merchant Fleet. This is fairly the same as guidelines, except that it has to do with the market directly instead of buildings. When in the market and buying goods in the market, it requires a half an hour to transport the bought goods to your resources. Using the Merchant Fleet can instantly finish this job with no questions asked but you only have one, so use it wisely.
*Produce-Revisited*
Another 4 items can be found in the produce tab. In this tab the items used here are to speed up the gathering of resources and make gathering them more efficiently. The items included in this tab are the Arch Saw, Blower, Plowshares, and Quarrying Tools.
Arch Saw is the first on the list. Basically as the description shows this tool gathers lumber faster. Like the items that increase attack and defense on your army in the first tab this item increases wood production for a straight 24 hours at a faster rate of 25%. This item speaks for itself and theres not much more to it, it just increases what you orginally have. Also it pays to use these wisely since you only have one of each.
Basically for the next 3 on the list their attributes are exactly the same except they deal with different resources. So...
-The Blower increases production for iron.
-The Plowshares increases production for food.
-The Quarrying Tools increases production for stone. And that's all for the Production tab.
*Medals-Revisited*
Skipping over chest since the same items are there we will save that tab for last. The Medal tab includes one item in it, but all items that are acquired in the future for medals all have to do with your hero. So anyways the only item in your Medals tab should be 2 Cross Medals.
Cross Medals are just as I said. They contribute to the hero and your title as a lord in evony. For example titles such as knight and baronet are obtained by collecting a certain amount of medals within them. Specifically a cross medal is used to increase your hero's loyalty by 5 when you click the rewards tab near your hero in the feasting hall.
Basically thats all for the Medals tab until you collect more medals.
*Chest-Revisited*
Finally we reach the chest tab once again. Even though I already explained the items in here, you still can't use the Package for Lords; so the only thing left in here is an Aries Amulet.
An amulet is used in the Wheel of Fortune located at the bottom left corner above your construction tab. Basically it's a ticket to win potential "good" prizes. When you click the icon all you have to do is click apply and see which item you win. Sometimes you may win extremely good items and sometimes you win not so good items. Basically the amulet is only a lotto ticket, and it's quite useful if you win something good. Also don't hesitate to use these amulets considering you get one every day you log on and a lot of times these amulets lead to fairly useful prizes.
*Conclusion*
Basically that's all for beginner's items, further items acquired in the future can either be figured out or by finding another review of the future items. Any items acquired in the future can be decently figured out if you got the idea of this review. For further questions I can be reached at juhikyking@yahoo.com. I can explain most of your questions about items and other things on Evony.
