For the record, Fifth is referring to the speech censor thats uses asterisks (*) in place of curse words and other words that have apparently been deemed inappropriate by the makers of the game.

Please vote as to whether it should stay the way it is with our right to free speech being taken away or if you would like your freedom back with an option to turn the censor OFF.

This argument is moot, the filter is in place to protect the quality of gameplay. It's not going to get taken down.

Furthermore, your spamming to advertise this thread, Starria, is against the forum rules.

Yes and the quality of gameplay is being diluted for some players by seeing **** and having to substitute words to try and figure out what the person is saying.

there are ways around the censors, just most people forget there are censors when they type....but problem with people being able to choose is this is a family site, and there's no way for a computer to know how old someone is....there are plenty of kids who if they had the option would turn it off and yet you can bet their parents would get pretty upset that they were even given the option to

This poll is obviously biased as well stating, "I would NOT like the freedom."

It should say, "I want this option" or "I don't want this option."

It is also not a violation of your first amendment rights as this web site, is privately owned by a company. As such they have the right to restrict what you can and can not say in this area, that is there right as the owners of the web site. The first amendment only frees you from being restricted from what you can say in a public place. While the internet is not exactly private, it is considered a place that is owned and controlled by a company and they have the right to choose what words will and will not be said in there "home". Also your spam, by posting advertisement for your thread in the Questions and answers section will not be tolerated.
