I just want to make it clear that I support no side here. I know very little about Samus, so its difficult to make a decision based only of my Master Chief knowledge.
Anything I say that sounds like an argument is simply correction of errors.

Maybe the reason a lot of you are voting for MC is deep-rooted male chauvinism? Especially considering the number of posts that go something like this...
Let's take a look at the things they have killed, shall we? Discounting, of course, the fact that Master Chief was often aided by giant tanks, jeeps with superlasers, and an entire army of human soldiers...Master Chief would totally pwnzor Samus! And then he would make her his wife and do kinky stuff to her!

A lot of humanoid aliens
Some giant tanks

Several space dragons (or robo-space dragons)
A brain with incredible psychic abilities
