I'm just saying, it'll be a lot less work for the mods if it just stayed in 1 thread. I'm actully simpathising (Sp) for the mods for once. There's a reason why Evony Radio is stickied.

So uh, you mind telling me what the reason is for that Evony Radio Show Schedules and Announcements is stickied? I would really like to hear this one

Ok, so move this to my sticky thread i have there. It is labeled "Show Schedules and Announcements" Not "Giveaways Here"

So I see Wildor's French Cafe. Why is that not merged into The King's Bar? Seems appropriate to me. Just because they are in the same genre, I think that would be warranted.

The simple fact is this. I needed a fresh thread started so when i roll a 1d14 or whatever, it will start where it is needed. Kind of hard to roll a 1d21-36 di. So i figured i could use OTD for this purpose and show the OTD that Evony Radio interacts (or at least tries to) with the OTD. Plus the chance to bring some new users here as well.

So yea, there is a post made once a week. Let me clarify.

To remind everyone about the weekly show and to inform people about it who have not heard of it. Which so far, this goal has been achieved each time.

If it really is such a huge drag to have 1 more thread in the OTD, it is simple. Ask a Mod to sticky all of my threads and get them out of the main area. That sounds like a solid plan to me.

And I never said sticky all of your threads. Why don't you just make the stickied thread the place where you tell everyone your giving out cents? It's a lot more simplier for everyone (including you) if you just post it in the thread.

I suggested it because it is along the same lines you are suggesting.

You are saying those two threads should have been merged simply because they have the same sort of name.
They are completely unrelated. One is for announcements. One is a used once thread for the sole purpose of running a contest.

I really dont think it would be simpler for anyone to have all of the Evony Radio stuff contained into one thread when the threads all have different meanings.

While we are sticking threads, why don't all of those "fight threads" all get merged and stickied? They are all about who is more popular or whatever, so they belong together too

No. This thread WAS the contest.
Let me put it in simple terms for you.

Evony Radio Show Schedules and Announcements has 21 Posts in it.
How this contest was run, a dice was rolled and whatever number came up, thats who won judging by what post number they had.
So to roll a di in the sticky thread, I would have had to roll a 1d 21-33
Tell me how that would have worked. Furthermore, you try djing for over 300 listeners, taking phone-in requests, email requests and monitoring 6 chatrooms, AND having to come up with ways to run a contest. All at the same time. And then tell me what you would have done differently.

I really am getting sick of my threads getting picked apart and analyzed by the "professionals" here. Im going to end this thread and request it be closed with this -

Find something better to do with your life than trolling forums for hours judging things that you are completely ignorant about.

JaXm is also a part of this community. If he decides to start a thread, he has every right. If MODERATORS judge his thread to be worth it, then it stays. If not, then it goes.

Since this thread was used EXPRESSELY for a contest on the radio, it had every justification. That it was used as such should perhaps have been made clearer. Nevertheless, the thread was made for a valid reason.

The contest being over, the thread is now closed. When another one is held THE SAME WAY, JaXm is welcome to start another thread.
