No offense to anyone in particular, but in my situation(with archery and Mtrad lv 10) i could kill off 1 mil warriors with 200K archers.
Here's the catch:1 mil warriors=3 mil food...200K archers=1.8mil food. for 1.8 mil food, I have a better army than wt i would have if i spent 3 mil. However, warriors can be made instantly(or at least close) while archers take a long time but since the time numbers keep on changing, i did not take it into consideration tht factor.
