Text Army In A Flash: The Complete Guide

Alright, so you want to know how to train troops in "no-time"? You don't feel like remembering the friggin' formula? Do you have a thing for pictures?

You've come to the right place! Now, the formula that everyone tells you to use is in a neat little table for you to find your answer! No more calculating! Yay!

With much thanks and credit to the one who created the formula used, I now present to you:

    Army In A Flash:

Table based on the formula of: (base time)*.9^(technology level)*.995^(hero attack) < 1 to equal 0 seconds, as the game rounds time down.

Due to some questions I have made an edit to this as is the following:

    The Purpose of the Table:
    • To allow players the knowledge of the hero attack/technology combinations required to make any troop/unit in literally 0 (zero) seconds, instantly.

    Reading the Table:
    • The columns indicate different levels of technology. As you move farther to the right of the table, the technology is higher and required hero attack level lower.
    • The rows indicate different troop/unit types. Below the name of each type is how long, in seconds, it would require to train without any technology or hero bonuses. Moving farther downward, it is in the order designated in-game, and not solely by base time.
    • The coordinating values indicate the level of attack the mayor of the city training troops/units must be to attain instant-train ability. The table specifies every troop/unit, and recognizes any level of technology.

    Example Usage:
Lord D4RTHV4D4R has a hero with an attack of 700 and maxed (Lv.10) technologies (Military Science & Metal Casting). He uses an Excalibur every once in while as needed. Lord D4RTHV4D4R could use this table and find out:
    • He can train warriors and workers instantly, and is not far from being able to do the same with scouts.
    • With Excalibur, he can train pikemen and even swordsmen in no time, having then an attack of 875.
    • Any and every troop/unit can be made instantly at different levels of hero attack and technology. Now he has goals for the future: making more in zero seconds as his hero attack grows.

    Tips for a Flash-Army Empire:
Given you have a high enough attack level with a hero, you may wish to designate an entire city to producing troops instantly.
A flash-army city contains a single, high level barracks, and as many cottages as can be made while still keeping the full function of the city. Explanation:
    • You only need 1 barracks because the troops/units that this city will train are made instantly. You can't make troops any faster than NOW, so to speak.
    • You need as many cottages as can be comfortably had so that population doesn't become too large an obstacle to making troops instantly. People are a resource.

In my spare time I have made an example of such a city's layout to show you all:

Ignoring the low levels, this would be the ideal instant army city. Also, with a level 2 Town Hall, if you threw every other city away for this one, after putting everything inside it, you could make a killer ****ton of prestige, so to speak. Note: If you even think of doing that, make sure you have any of your other cities taken by a friend so you don't screw yourself by making a city without good resource production or a Beacon Tower. This idea is purely theoretical.

I hope this additional information aids any and all viewers of this guide.
