I'm surprised nobody commented on this...

Soylent Green is food made of people.

I thought it was funny but expected it to be picked up. I can't always be the one .

And we should point out that this is fiction. From a movie.

    Some might take it seriously.

From a movie based on a novel.

Which many TV shows have since done parodies of.

I tried to make it obvious, but maybe the reference was just to obscure....

One of my all time favourite places to eat was Trinity Beach Pizza, near Cairns in Far North Queensland. I would go there for dinner with my girlfriend every now and then and we would dine alfresco, virtually right on the beach. Great pizzas, great coffee, licenced and killer ambience.
That was some years ago and I don't know if they are still there now, or if the pizzas are still as good. It's a nice memory.

    PEACE

Hmmmmm favorite place to eat......besides at my own table?

Too many to list, I have had great food from all over and have been to many places in the US that serve great food. Have had many authentic meals from around the world at places that are no bigger than my kitchen. I would have to say though my favorite is a good truck stop, you can't beat the omelets or the pie. And I don't mean those rest stops along the highway that have restaurants, I mean real truck stops that you pull in and everyone stares at you if you aren't a trucker, farmer or lumberjack.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it!

I think it might be Centotre. I had the best weird sort of steak... It was a sirloin with a vinegarette, Parmesan cheese and rocket. It was soooo good!

Nothing beats a good French Caf? Bistr?t. And I am not being facetious either!

When I lived in Quebec City, there was one right besides Laval University. Since the area also had two prep schools and a lot of professionals (dentist, lawyers etc...), The conversations on the 'terrace' in the summer around a good imported beer were sometimes extraordinary! And the food was superb. I ended up working there a couple of years. I practically lived in the place and loved every minute.

Lilly Garden. Best Chinese food ever. Plus the waiter loves our family. He's a pretty wicked d00d.
