I personaly love using teleports to move a war town around, thier pretty cheap realy and its funner then sitting or walking 50 miles to hit someone.

    Hmm....

This is not 'an alliance mate's city' that is being used.
It is a city already belonging to said player.

I'm not familiar with all the game mechanics yet but this city would have to change hands twice to accomplish what you outlined. Which means the city would have to be conquered from outside the alliance, moved to said location, then retaken once it was there. Maybe that's what happened but it does seem very unlikely.

I will try to get some more details of the situation.

One thing that you can also do if you want to be somewhere specifically is have someone in your alliance adv a city anywhere you want it with 20 loyalty...get kicked from the alliance and send a cav wave... once your close your friend/alliance mate then hits levy and raises tax to 100 making the city keep its 0% loyalty....and bam got a city wherever you want it without waiting for a 24 hour cooldown. just gotta make sure you can defend it untill your troops reach it by reinforcing... but then again as you took the city.. if you get attacked you can always teleport it back out... that may be what happened if it wasnt a random tele used and instead a strategical placement..

The thing that perplexes me is the city which was teleported next to mine has always belonged to the player who attacked from it. He attacked me from the same city in a different location a few hours before. Maybe there is another way around the cool-down that does not involve the city changing hands?

It is quite easy to rename a city.

Just because it has the same name as another town that attacked you previously, does not in anyway make it the same town based solely on its name.

That and also like you said eaerlier SSRat, the city just could've changed hands twice, which is not at all hard to do

Happened on Server 60 recently. Guy ports in with his city and then bang attacks the player next to him, Even knows when the guy was offline. I do not believe for 1 2nd he was playing a game of chance with the city teleporter and landing next to 4 of our members in the space of 24 hours and when I say next to our players I mean right next to them.

Say what you wish but I know for a fact this game is full of bugs and exploits. All Evony care about is brainwashing idiots into buying stuff that is not free.
