When people need to learn the common sense required in places like this forum, I like to teach The Grandma Test.


Would you be willing to show this or say that to your grandmother and all her friends? They may not get the reference. They may not understand your joke. But would you get slapped for it?

Do not come back with the "My grandma is cool with things like this" argument. You know the point of this test, don't try to act like you don't know what I mean by this test. How would the average grandmother react? That's why I added the "and all her friends" addendum.

Truly tho, I sometimes slip up, as everyone does, and forget something. I get were you are coming from with the grandma thing, but even she said that I lacked common sense. (btw if I were to describe her in ten words it would look something like this: * * * * as a * * * *. She is not on my 'Favorite members of the family list...) but back to the thread topic
