I have a couple of questions about the psychology of anime fans:
Why? Why do you love anime so much?
and:
You do know that the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, right?

i can only speak for me so all i can say is that i like a good story if its a book a movie or a anime i dont think that we should judge the creativity of someone by that for example the korean manga (manhwa in korea) writer Im Dal-Young (or lim dall-young) is a genius as a storywriter but since its for mangas he is easily missjudged wich rly is sad cause the storys are great stuff
back to the topic Death Note also is a really good story but lots of people ignore the story just cause its manga/anime thats why they also try to make those movies and as u see there are people like armbarchris who can be surprisedmaybe he is able to see the storys a bit different now
as a german i dont want to say anything about your other comment.![]()

Exactly why I don't get anime haters. There Hate is based on hating the program because it is anime. I myself enjoy and dislike many anime programs, fully based on the stories created and not on the art work.
Oh and Crushking, I would appreciate no spoilers to the interested parties please.
or at least say your gonna post a spoiler.![]()
So you like it for it's story? Then why not read a book instead? I'm trying to pin-point exactly "why anime" and those never have very good story lines anyway. In terms of storyline quality, anime is to cartoons that Avatar is to movies. (In short, the story is crap ripped-off of other crap. If you look closely, James Cameron ripped-off Disney's Pocahontas's story, took a planet from Star Wars, threw in some motion capture and a couple green screens, then finished by calling it "Avatar")
Ah, right, because of the, ah-hem, "other" side of WWII. If it comes as any consolation, Hitler was Austrian, not German.as a german i dont want to say anything about your other comment.![]()
That is so stolen from Admiral Ackbar.
I hate the artwork of anime, those huge eyes and extremely off anatomy irks me.
Oh, and I hate the stories too, I'm far too cynical to simply enjoy them.

Well at least you have a reason lol. Oh and I dont mind the art work
also every idea is stolen from somewhere. :P
I love death note. That is it. I have no doubt in my mind it will be my favourite anime until i pass on to 'nothingness', which of course we all know is the place where the people who used the death note go, when they die.
I was choked up, angry and peace at minded when i saw the last episode.
That was the most intense moment ever!
By the way which side are you on?
L or Light?
Oh and sigil stone- the pearl harbour attacks caused the deaths of about 25000 men (guesstimate).
however the two atomic bombings in Hiroshima and Nagasaki resulted in the deaths of around 200000 innocent people if not more. Now im not justfying it was right for the japanese to kill 25000 sailors, what i am saying though is that there are always two sides to the story...
Oh and the men who bombed pearl harbour dont 'do' anime...
