Rommel and Guderian, I can agree with. But MONTY? He basically took over command of a veteran army, with massive numbers of new tanks and personnel being shipped to it, and managed to defeat a weakened, terribly supplied force without its commanding general, after waiting for MONTHS.

He couldn't even finish the job, and the Afrika Korps escaped cleanly.

Then, he spent the rest of the war butting heads with Patton and ignoring intelligent strategy which could have sped up the end by months or even years simply because he wanted all of the glory for himself.
