well i would have chosen patton, but i voted for washington. to me patton and washington are tied regardless of military record. Patton just being a born General, and Washington being able to start this country with the success he had on that battlefield. heck, Washington had a chance to lead this nation like a dictatoship if he wanted to. these two are definately my favorite american generals.
