Thread: teleporting nonsense

    Default teleporting nonsense

My alliance is at war and the opposition is flying around the place like helicopters. I thought teleport is supposed to be a tool to escape being wiped-out, and somehow these folks have an abundance of these tools.
What the heck is going on??? It's become an offensive strategy.

yeah apparently weaker alliances are using hit and run tactics wit their teleport items against bigger alliances. It's a sound strategy, if not expensive.

Sometimes the best offense is a good defense.

But they probably bought them/whell/NPC drops/PvP drops.

People have already pioneered this "airborne tactic" by loading a chuck full of troops, food and almost everything, take off and strike. I believe evony will do something to this script soon.

In fact, adv tele isn't fair anyway, they crippled the teleporter depriving march yet they allow the teleporter to be attacked. WTF right?

LMAO, there are no rules on how to use a teleport. In contrast to your thoughts, I?ve never thought of a teleport as being a tool to escape, but rather one to be used to hunt down or annoy your enemy. I?ve used them to port in and steal (and abandon) ever enemy valley in a 20+ mile radius (right before server maint. time is best for their lvl 10 valleys LOL) and I?ve used them to port in and get closer to the enemy and help other alliance members move in closer.

OK, that's a thoughtful approach. However, the game isn't called "Stargate". If you want to feature flying cities we should also have all the other tech goodies.
But wait - that's Warhammer, or any one of goodness-knows how many other sci-fi or magic games.
I thought this game was circa 1300. AT least that's how they're marketing it.

Well considering in Real life an army would march on an enemy and attack said enemy and would camp out around or near the target city and not march all the way home again before attacking the next day Allowing cities to teleport in to attack is a valid tactic. I swear everytime someone out smarts another player in this game there is screaming and crying on how the tactic used to out smart them should be removed from the game. You lost suck it up! You want to make sure you are Safe from a Teleporting enemy, Barb all nearby flats.

"People once believed, that when someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens, that a terrible sadness is carried with it and the soul can't rest. Then sometimes, just sometimes the crow could bring that soul back to put the wrong things right"

If you're 'Vance jumping and you're worried about getting attack, you probably shouldn't be doing it.

There's nothing like setting up a city to be ready to take on anything, then landing it right in the middle of an enemy cluster of cities.

    Fun, fun, fun.
This has been a very serious message by a very silly Malafae.

It's not a good strategy in fact. Provided we have too many redundant scripts, random till close enough and it has to be done fast enough within a time frame to simultaneous strike. Silly but fun. And painful.

Stand up, hook up, shuffle off and jump jump jump .. pikemen, warriors and cavalries *lol*
