Asking us to check up on an account is one thing. Sitting here on the forums and not only continuing to try to accuse someone of cheating, but to question every possible response given is taking this much too far.

I am going to close this thread, but before I do, I want to clarify a few things.

1) There are a LOT of husbands and wives who play this game. My husband plays, as do I. Same server, same alliance. In our alliance is a father and his three sons who play. Two brothers. A girl and her fiance. One of my coworkers. Quite a few of us have each other's cell numbers and skype. I've baked and mailed cookies to one of the guys. Saying an alliance could be close-knit and in contact outside the game is not a stretch at all. In fact, I'd say it's fairly common.

2) IP means nothing concrete. When we check on possible account sharing, we don't simply run an IP check. If we did that, most families, people who use internet cafes or public libraries, entire dorms, certain military units, etc...would all be banned.

3) When you have a reason to believe someone is violating game rules, the proper way to address it is to contact a staff member (in-game via the Contact Us button or here) and tell them about it. Publicly casting suspicion on any player is unfair and I don't like it. I've let this continue for a while because originally this was posed as a simple question and people were endeavoring to offer up answers. It's become a game to "prove" who might be lying, and I despise that. I don't want to see any more public discussion about this player or alliance and their possible account-sharing.
