14 years of hearing them argue?

Does that mean your 14... because im pretty sure u weren't listening to your parents argue when you were 0-4 years old, or didn't care

So that would mean you were about 18? In which my solution is, GET OUTTA THERE!!

    MY OTHER SOLUTION:

Or if u really are 14, take a spray bottle and every time they start to argue, spray them.
Works on my cat every time.

Either way, I am sorry for your situation. Have you confronted your parents? Let them know how much it hurts you to hear them fighting all the time.

If all else fails start ordering free emotional abuse / family love / etc books from online to be delivered to the house to both of them.

It just sounds like my family Christmas get togethers:
Stuck in a house with a group of people you spend all year trying to avoid, with too much alcohol and nothing worth watching on tv.
    PEACE

You people do it the hard way
All it takes is some disciplining your parents

    1. Make sure they understand you are in charge here, don't let them get away with anything. When they are acting wrong, simply give them a small spray with a spray bottle to tell them they are doing something wrong.

    2. Parents must learn how to share. Try teaching them not to hog the bed when sleeping with you. They must adjust to your position, not the other way around.

    3. Table Manners. An extremely important greatly in need of sturdy rules and structure to discourage bad parent behavior behavior. Parents must learn they have their own food and water dishes separate from your dishes.

    4. Parents are extremely social loving animals, which is exactly what people love so much about their parents. Make sure they get some time outside, and time to be with other Parents.

    5. No Horse Play. Super charged hyper-active parents often require a quick refresher that the stairway is not their racetrack. Tell them to go outside when they get rowdy, they can do no damage out there

    6. Parents need reassurance that most bathrooms do not have a secretly hidden human escape doors and that the screaming, howling and whining parents carry on with is not what actually changes kids minds to exit through the very door from which they entered. Teach them patience.

So what to do with parents that are not domesticated? Simply start at step one by teaching parents the rules of parent behavior. Like kids, parents will test their limits and even one time is too many times for kids to give into the rules. Allowing a parent on the couch once implies always to a parent. And eventually the parent will have the comfortable loveseat while you enjoy the hard folding chair. Once the rules of domestic living parent behavior are mastered, you and your parent will begin to enjoy comfortable happiness living together.

That last sentence is what your shooting for right? Then this is perfect!!
