No matter how noble the intention behind this scheme, I couldn't disagree more with it. The fact is, getting up every morning and going to work to earn enough money to eat is a very important, I'd say central and primordial, mainspring of any economy. You take away that incentive, you have an economy that is NOT firing on all it's cylinders, to say the least. In a highly competitive world, I would not want to see how a scheme like this would affect a national economy vis-a-vis it's competitors.
