Socilism is the first impression most people have when reading the plan. I do not deny it is a tool for social justice. But I would call it socilistic-capitalism or capitalistic-socilism. There is still a free flow of currency, and there is no fixing of prices. Supply and demand are still allowed to do their job. (note: "socilism" is misspelled to prevent the star effect, I know how it's really spelled)
Foxy had the same concern as you, Jorbaud. There will always be people that can't handle the responsibility of feeding themselves, and would sell off every bit of the food currency. We have solutions for this today, with people that misspend various welfare programs. Social workers will continue to do jobs like this, and help make sure most of the money is being spent properly. My mother was a social worker, and she helped many families keep their children fed and clothed, even though the parent would have preferred to spend every free dollar on less noble expenditures. My father works at the local board of MRDD (mental retardation, disease and disabilities). They have many social workers that help disabled individuals get the benefit of various welfare programs available to them. There will always be people that can't handle responsibilities (either from selfishness or disability), and we can help guide these people in the future, just like we guide them today.
