Yes another post about lag and not responding issues.. can server 4 exspect to see better server response anytime soon? or all servers for that fact? Guys step it up .. we would really love to see this game on top of the front page of GAMER mag!

Server 5 has also been having lag issues, along with the dreaded Network Error that locks me out of the game.

I know we are relatively new (and its free), but it is getting old fast.

the biggest aspect of this game is time investment

every single player has experienced lag, i know plenty who tried non stop for almost a day to log in and still couldn't get it

bottom line, unless you are directly willing, capable, and realistically able to lend a hand to the developers, you should be lucky it works as often as it does

Has anyone ever heard the saying "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth?"

Think about it. You're playing an overwhelmingly popular 'free' (speaking relatively) game. Player numbers are exponentially increasing. Servers can't handle the influx so they crash. Evony (Civony) is working on the problem just like they're working towards solutions to the medal issues and game exploiting issues. Be patient and support them, whining isn't going to change or speed things up. Go play your 360 or ps3, online... services you PAY for.

ya a free game that peeps like me might just through 5-10 USD at it to get some cool stuff and then what happens lag and shut downs , its called investment in entertainment and if it cant run right , how you expect or wish ANYONE to pay ya even a bit to cover costs and put dinner on your plate.

With 500K people playing even if 10000 gave 5$ thats more then enough to start a SMALL ISP with ten to twenty servers. and 100 megabit on each server.

Chronoss: I think you're probably underestimating the overhead of running an operation this size. Between the developers needing a paycheck and server purchase / rental / upkeep, I'm thinking that we have no idea of the money involved. While I understand your frustration. If you don't enjoy this 'free' game, don't play. I play on server 4 (top 500, Lord Telruk if you care) and I've dumped 40 bucks U.S. into the game, by choice. Edit: You obviously think that 50 grand goes a whole lot further than it actually does.

To be honest, they'd probably be okay with you quitting the game right now. I think that give them time and they'll do just fine, with or without your 5 bucks.

Once again. "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth."

    Please Don't attack other players.

I'm content to wait. This is a new game that's obviously very popular, I'm surprised the servers don't go down more often than they do. Especially when people are basically working for free. Think of it this way, would you rather have a free game that's incredibly popular but has to work out some technical issues or a game that still has technical issues, just not as frequent, that you have to pay a monthly fee for?

A broken toy is no fun whether it was free or paid for.

It's like signing up at Christmas time to buy a needy child a toy for Christmas and then buying them a Yo Yo with no string.
