Default Destroy NPC back to a flat >?>?

Is it possible to change a NPC back to a flat --- some clown near me has made a heap of lvl1 NPC - that serves no purpose other than to take up space as all the castles around the area are at lvl 10 so would prefer to be farming lvl 5 NPC

NOW if i take over the NPC unbuild everything thing then abandon - will it turn back to a flat > or just continue as a NPC at level 1 ?

    thanks

Default Destroy NPC back to a flat

After you take the NPC, unbuild everything and then abandon it, it will return to the level it was before you took it. The level of an NPC is a function of the level of the flat upon which it was created.

The only method I can see to make a level 1 NPC into a more useful level of NPC is to capture it, advanced teleport it onto an empty level 5 or 10 flat and then abandon it. I say it's not worth the $9.00 USD.

You don't need to advanced teleport it. Just random port it to another zone and abandon it.
Then level up the flat it leaves behind and make a new NPC.

I have done this a few times, but if you're inundated with small flats, it may be easier for you to move.

Notwithstanding this weak dismissal of the information I provided in my post, in the event you wish to make that level 1 into something more useful, the method I provided is effective.

I did not dismiss you're post. The key word is "need" in that sentence. I'm merely pointing out that there's a less costly method.

Admittedly, if the goal is to make the NPC city into something more useful at another location, then your method is best.
If the goal is to make the nearby squares into more useful NPC's, then my method is better.

I read the OP to mean he wanted the squares near his city to be higher level NPC's, not that he wanted to make the NPC's into a higher level city at some other location. I could be wrong though.

    edit:
Anyway... I'm sorry if you read my tone as dismissive. That was not my intent. My goal was to supplement your post with additional info about other methods, not replace your plan.

Ok today i took over the lvl 1 NPC right at my door ---- renamed it --- then teleported it out of my area ---- it moved 180 miles away ... excellent .......

    or so i thought.......

went to check the empty space where the NPC was --- and there was another one there in its place ??????????

I DID check before i sent it away that i owned it .....

I DID teleport it away ..... and seen the city in the new location ---- ABANDON that city

come back and the NPC still there --- so i wasted a teleport for nothing .. so i guess the NPC's are there for ever once built .... perhaps a good way to anoy your enemys is to make all the lvl 1 flats near them lvl1 NPC

Hmm....I wonder if your neighbor simply made a new NPC there in a hurry? It would take at least a few minutes though. How long before you checked the space after you teleported the other away?
