This thread reminds me of a quest to find piroshki in this area.

Best decribed as homestyle hotpockets.They are onion flavored browned beef,with dill weed seasoning,stuffed in an egg based pastry.Deepfried.

I liken it to a sandwich,burritto or turnover.They are easy to make and great for eating on the go.Add a little variety of cheeses and anything that suits you.
